Caroline Rainsford
Caroline is the Country Director for Google New Zealand. In this role she is responsible for growing and developing Google's presence and team in New Zealand as well as driving Google’s overall business operation. She is passionate about helping local businesses, government and New Zealanders grow and transform in the digital age. Since joining Google in 2017, Caroline has also taken on additional leadership capacity on the Google AUNZ Diversity Equity and Inclusion Council and as the Executive Sponsor of the Google Women@ community.
Before joining Google, Caroline had a diverse career spanning service and product industries in New Zealand, Australia, Middle East, Africa and Turkey. Caroline has extensive leadership experience with most of her career involving positions on leadership and executive teams in companies such as Philips Royal Electronics, GE, GE Capital and Latitude Financial Service.
In August 2021 Caroline took up the position of Future Director for The Warehouse Group and in August 2022 joined the board as a full director. Caroline is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors, Global Women and the New Zealand Initiative.
When she's not helping customers, Caroline spends her time chasing two young children around the parks and beaches of Auckland. She also loves tennis, golf and is an enthusiastic skier.
